Josh joined the Interlochen library staff as Music Librarian in the Fall of 2017. He arrives with a wide range of library experience. Josh began working at the IUPUI University Library in the spring of 2007 in order to save money to purchase a new marimba, and he enjoyed the library so much that he went on to get his Master of Library Science degree from Indiana University-Indianapolis. In 2013, he left his native Indiana to work in the George F. DeVine Music Library at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. Josh also holds degrees in percussion performance from Northwestern University and Rutgers. He enjoys playing solo marimba music, with Yasuo Sueyoshi’s Mirage being his favorite piece.
